Default Help no power to coil

I lost power to the coil on my 4x4. If you get a live straight from battery it starts. Any ideas what has died on me?

Cheers lee

Possibly the alarm has disabled the live feed.

http://www.bigturbo.co.uk/main6.htm Scroll down to L8 ECU diagram and that will explain it a bit, the ignition module it the ignition amplifier on the inner wing under the bonnet. Will get some more info for you soon, I need to look at the ignition barrell on the steering column to check how that is wired.

As said, if it's still got the standard immobilizer, then this is the most likely causing the problem, that or you have lost the live feed to the coil.

It has nothing to do with the ignition amp!

-The green wire connects to the iginition coil, this comes from the rev counter and ignition amplifier.
-The black wire connects to the black & yellow wire on the ignition amp, the black wire on the lambda sensor and the red positive wire from the ignition.
