as above really just after peoples view on these test drove one and wasnt that impressed

 

What are you comparing it to? I've driven one round track and thought they were really good

not really comparing it against anything just didnt really feel that quick for 250bhp they handle well and drive nice just wondered if someone on here has had one and had it remapped etc

 

Pumabuild have released a 290bhp package for it I believe. I'm not sure whether any have been remapped yet due to preserving warranty and also since Mountune haven't any official packages yet, no one on STOC has got theirs remapped I don't think. Are you in the market for a hot hatch? If you drove it and didn't like it then move on try something else.

 

Well what id do is drive its competitors who have similar power and a similar price and then see if you still think the ford is not all that

i liked everything else about the car just thought it could do with a bit more go lol im sure a few mods and a remap will sort that

 

I believe Rob at SCC got Revo to map his as soon as it was collected, Im not 100% on this it was on his Facebook when he first collected it a while back. I know a few Mk2 RS guys have test drove the ST and they werent that impressed but it is an ST not an RS and the comparison to a ST3 and a Mk2 RS is miles apart.

Im not too keen on the styling of it or the fact its a 4 pot.

 

And lost the 2 rear doors.

I was reading it a mag that you need to change the turbo to be able to get over 300bhp.

i got a book from Daventry ford collage on it and when looking through ive noticed there is no exhaust manifold, the turbo just bolts straight to the head.

I also noticed that the comp ratio is quite high for a turbo car compared to the old rs turbo and cosworths. 9,3.1

 

We went to look at one last week, lovely inside but there just ugly
And the democracy with a few of the toys was like 27k. Fuck that for a focus

 

I dont mind them in 4 door form but i do think they should do a 2 door model.

 

my sister traded her other volvo mk2 frs in for a tangerine coloured one not driven it yet as she in germany

 

Ive never brought one anywhere.
