Default Whats this plug?

hi all,

been sorting some wiring out in my escort mk5 and realized i had a plug in the wrong place, i have that sorted now, but i'm left with this plug:

i have looked in the wiring diagram but can't figure out where its supposed to plug in

anyone know? its in the right hand side of the engine bay, around where the EDIS module is, wires are green, and green/red

thanks in advance

Ash

im not sure, i couldn't find anything for it to plug into in that area, the engine and loom was taken from an XR3i and put in my LX shell, so maybe there's something i've missed?

i meant the coilpack rather than the edis, i think the box you are looking for may not be part of the coilpack but will bolt onto it somewehre close by

I've already got a plug with a single black wire going into the grey box, also have checked the wiring diagram for that as well pretty sure that is right,

I'm stumped with this, of it does plug into that grey box then where does the plug with one black wire go?

Well had a good look at the escorts in the breakers, same engines just varied between 1.6s and 1.8s an couldn't see the plug anywhere in that area of the bay,

Where about a am I to find the crank position sensor? So I can see if its there or it's missing a plug, must be timing end right?

aps? any more info on this? or do you mean pulse air system? if so thats all good at the minute, and if it was that i'd still have another plug hanging around

i can't seem to find a component that's not plugged in anywhere, and after looking at the wiring on some of the escorts in the breakers yard the suppressor is now correct,
but according to the wiring diagram for the 1.3 hcs, which was originally in the car, it goes to the suppressor, however the 1.3 looms have been removed and 1.8 looms installed, but if it is then why is it in the 1.8 loom if thats the black wire plug?

major mind f*ck now
