Default any porsche expert on this evening? blown turbo?

my mate has just sent me this vid of his cayenne and it sounds just a little bit fucked

he says that all of a sudden it's gone "poof!" and now it sounds like a diseasal and it's got no power

has he just blown a boost pipe or has he blown a turbo?

or even the engine?

Error codes p0300 and p0304 have come up on my obd tester

Anyone shed any light on that?

Plus, it's not rattling anymore, it's whisper quiet

cheers for that

when you press the throttle there is a pause, then a "woosh" and then the engine revs up so it takes about a second from when you put your foot down to the engine actually revving up

in this sort of condition is the car still in a driveable state or would he be better off getting it recovered to the garage to be looked at properly?

Being what it is and the cost of parts/labour i'd get it taken into somewhere and looked at, it could be as simple as a spark plug in the end, better safe than sorry though I guess.

Will be coilpacks 99%. Common problem. Change them all and the plugs at same time. Easy DIY job.

Get parts from Jasmine Motorsport. Genuiine were about a tenner each last set I bought. Plugs a little more.
