Default Mondeo st200 work

Afternoon all,

I am doing some work to my mondeo with a mechanic mate next week and am just after some help about equipment that I will require before I start the job, I am replacing all the brake disks and pads and new braided brake lines, new fuel filter, new oil filter and oil change, and then new ht leads and spark plugs. Do I need to get new gaskets for any of the manifolds while changing the spark plugs?

Have just got standard Brembo rear discs and pads and front pads, NATIONAL SPORT 8 GROOVE BRAKE DISCS FRONT.

Hel braided brake lines all round in neon blue
NGK spark plugs code-PTR6D-13 with standard ht leads.

Have got magnacore 5-30w engine oil.

Am hoping to get the upper and lower manifold removed and cleaned and clean the secondaries once I find out more about it and get some more money. Lol.

Hope can get some advice.

Many thanks.

Stuart

you wont need to renew any gaskets if your just changing the spark plugs mate.it is just a case of removing the old plugs and replacing with new. hth

But a decent break bleading kit will make things a lot easier , also b carefull not to over tighten the spark plugs!

When I changed my plugs on my ST24 few years ago, I removed the Upper Inlet Manifold (UIM) as it easier to change the rear bank plugs, some have done it without, but I cleaned secondaries at same time. You may need new gaskets for UIM and LIM as and when, my UIM were not too bad but changed them anyway.
