i learnt yesterday that the sierra xr/rs front hubs are differnt
front shock mounting angle
calliper mounting position
steering arm
https://passionford.com/forum/genera...ront-hubs.html
anyway i found this out after fitting new discs/pads on my car & noticing 1 calliper is 10mm away from the back of the rim & 1 is basically touching!
also then that 1 wheel sits at a very slightly differnt angle to the other (obv due to the shock mount differnce)
im just wondering why the actual shock angle is differnt as a xr sierra use's basically the same shell set up/suspension as an rs & to be honest the xr front hub works abit better on my car as its a mk4 escort cos & with the sierra width being wider then the escort this makes the offset look slightly better (wheels dont stick out as much) & helps the aid of my rs tubro rims as they are fwd offset.
so i have to purchase 1 hub to match a pair on my car & was wondering if a pair of xr hubs would mess up handling etc...
atm i am pointing towards buying rs hubs just to keep everything rite
anyone give me any advice??????

I'm trying to work out something similar with mine rwd mk3, any pictures of the 2 differing sides? Or can u estimate the poke difference in mm?
Also u sure u got that around the right way that it the xr hubs that narrows the track??
