Is it an absolute neccessity to use min 97 ron fuel on the RS Focus?, as I guess that means filling up with super plus everytime? Trouble is having just bought the car, my employer will pay for all my fuel but not super plus. aargh!!!

cant see that been an issue as all you need to do is fill up with super and re-imburse the difference from normal unleaded
e.g
£10 fuel - super
£9.20 fuel - normal
so you will re-imburse 80pence to your boss!!!
he cant argue with that!

 

Cool, Got an agreement from them, that I will pay the difference between super plus and normal, so I put in about £500 per month in fuel, so i guess its gonna cost me about £20 per month, I can handle that!

Why would you're boss be arsed about £20 a month, you'd think he'd just pay it.

 

Cos he's a high clas 'boss hog'! cigar smoking peasant who wants to save bucks wherever he can!!, evn though I fill up on the motorway most of the time and normal unleaded at service stations is more expensive than super plus round town!!!
