l6 ecu best place to repair

hi guys i have an l6 cosworth ecu which has got an overheated burnt diode on it which i need to get repaired,
Can anybody recommend the best place to contact to get this sorted

Take it into maplins get another diode and solder it in job done cheap as or buy another as it would prob be cheaper than having yours repaired by a specialist.

The question is, what caused it to overheat?

If it were me, this.

Otherwise you have MSD, there aren't many people who repair ECU's I shouldn't think, even less who want to touch the old Weber's.
