Default My Saph Dyno results.... (part 2)

As a followup to this thread,
https://passionford.com/forum/genera...o-results.html

I ran the car again today at a different place, different operator, and superflow rather than dynapack

and the result...

compared to the previous

exactly the same
complete fluke that they are to the same decimal point, and there is a big difference in boost control (the surge like effect on the original graph) and a massive increase in torque, presumably doen to the boost control actually controlling now.

quick vid my brother took

argue away...

But the TCF on your 2nd graph will make it look better than what the car is.

Still lower than What () mine was

Well the TCF cant be that bad if this second dyno gives exactly the same result, and the other dyno it has been run on which was a dynojet gave 496bhp.

For what its worth, i dont give a toss about any of the figures, today was a cliosport forum day which my brother was running in. i went along for a watch and got persuaded to run.

I don't think these turbo's are T38 - i have a feeling they are bigger as thats a lot of power and torque

If the first one is correct then its over 1000 rpm lower at peak power than the other one?

Id suggest that the rpm scale is out although the cross over point is correct so something not right..

cheers danny

Like I said, boost control is now actually controlling. If anything the dynapack rpm reading may be slightly out, with the dodgy boost control and the two graphs desperate it is difficult to tell where they meet. Not sure on the top line of 7400 rpm on the dynapack either, seems a little high but I'm not sure off the top of my head exactly where the rev limiter is set. Maybe tony can answer that one.

Nice power and torque figures but how come it only revs to just over 6000 rpm?

RPM scale has got to be out on the first graph.

I know Tony set my limiter just over 7400 so would be no different for Fraser's

Great figures, I bet that is savage on the road.

The Superflow at EFI is apparently very accurate, more so than others
