i bought this to restore my escort now its off it and i dont need it, this item is a defo item when restoring a car, its worth every penny i couldnt of done it without it,this jig does a full 360 degrees spin, most others don't, a jig that can only rotate to 90 degrees is not much good, and this one will stop at any one of 16 different angles.

i have added extra 2x14ft steel square sections to give it more stability as you can see from first pic, if you buy new you will not get these, and i think it needs these to stop chassis from bending at anytime. also i have drilled holes in frame so you can put the car up right and leave it there or in any position you want for weeks on end. but the best part about this jig is i have made it mobile on wheels so you can move it from place to place.

you can buy these for £250+ so at this price with it all made up is a bargain

Whats the maximum length it will go to? Hmmm Wonder if i could stretch that for my p100.

 

if i knew this would work on a sierra i would snap it up. i think the weight would be wrong and not balanced. like the way you have allowed for movement around workshop.

 

It would stretch u just need to buy more boxed steel section to keep it working, and as for a seirra it will work cus its made so car always bottom heavy so it always wants to be up right

 

I take it a MK5 Escort would fit mate? Do you know the rough weight?
