Any idea how much to do a head gasket on a 2008 Toyota Avensis?

Mate's Dad has been quoted £2K! Seems a little steep to me.

Someone want to go on holiday i think !!!!! i normally charge around the 1k mark all in baring problems ie snapped studs and the injectors come out ok....

Cool! Thanks mate. I'll tell him to shop around for something closer to that mark. Funny thing is the head gasket went whilst the garage had the car there for an MOT and a couple of other bits!

i would say around £700-£800 as longs as the head isnt cracked and no siezed injectors etc
