I'm posting this up here first as I'd rather a member got it before it goes to the vultures on fleabay


I'll go for the bad bits first, the car was cat d damaged a few years ago, I've had it on the ramp and can't see any chassis damage, I fitted the WRC kit that came off my own RS and couldn't see any damage to the chassis legs or anything else


The paintwork is not the best with a few marks here and there but by no rust problems, the front arch liners are missing as they don't fit with the WRC kit

The rear tyres are bald and need replacing


Now the better bits,


It's only covered 78k miles, I've done an MOT history check and the mileage is genuine, the MOT expires at the end of the year and the tax runs out at the end of the month,


There is a 3" turbo back system, Bluefin, silicone boost pipes, dump valve, and H&R lowering springs,


Comes with pink throttle cable, sticker on the start button and the stiched seats which are in very good condition with no splits or rips

The WRC kit consists of the rear boot spoiler, front wings and front bumper, it's not to everyones taste


The engine satrts and runs well and the gearbox changes with no drama, the Brembos still bite well and I've stuck a new set of pads on the rear


This would make a fantastic track car, the interior is good so could be sold and fit a couple of buckets and you'll have a road legal track car

Yeah I bought his Focus but really don't like the kit so I bought this to swap all the parts over, It's a lot of car for the money

Looks a bargin , if I hadnt just fitted cams and boddies to my clio I would of had this from you.

 

the fact is will cost over a grand to get it looking how it should puts me off a bit

 

Hence the reason it's up for £4500, I don't think you could buy another RS on the road for anywhere near that price

Yeah the kits not to everyone's taste or even anyone by the looks of it lol, it would make a fantastic track day toy

prob closer to 2k+ in parts needed
bumper is around 500 alone,then youll need fogs,indicators and side gills if they dont come with it,wings circa 500each,needs a grill which isnt cheap and tailgate with rs spoiler.

to be honest walshy if youve got time/space id break it for parts,youll make your 4500 easily and the shell can still live on.

 

Or someone can give me £4500 and have the cheapest RS in the country

Cheap motor, surprised its not away.. it seems no one really has any spare coin at the moment for motors

 

Cheap car please someone save this car it it the most hideous focus Rs I have ever seen looks like it has a huge parent safety handle on the back like my sons trike, hopefully someone snaps this up and puts it original again.....

Your Looking at 2K to put it right, Sensible money for a Cat D

 

With a few little tweaks I think that'd make an awesome Focus with the kit on...certainly stands out from the rest of the other RS's that all look the same!
