I want to check the wiring diagram for the central locking, I'm not sure there's power getting to the central locking system. I've checked all the fuses, they're ok, I've changed the central locking module but it still doesn't work. I wanted trace the central locking to the battery see if there's anything I've missed.

I was nosing at the Ford Etis site last night, i'm sure there on there but they require a subscription and the first payment has to be 50 Euro!

Is it both doors or just the one?

The doors will only lock individually from the key, the central locking doesn't cycle at all. The car won't go into learning mode so I can't even try to pair up my key. My cougar is the same as a mk2 mondeo underneith so I'm surprised there isn't more info on the net about it. I could have done with a Haynes manual but they never made one for the cougar.

Sounds more like a fob problem then, have you no key specialists around your area that can double check the fob is okay?

If it was just the fob, wouldn't the central locking cycle when I turn the key in the door?
