Heater matrix? There's 2 rubber pipes going into the bulk head to the right of your inlet manifold as you look at it check there not joined together if they are it points to a duff matrix and someone's bypassed it.

Failing that I'd be lookin at the cooling system

+1 to joined coolant pipes at the bulk head due to leaking matrix. Although it could be as simple as one of the control cables from the heater control becoming detached from the mechanism under the dash. Have a look under there - there is lots of access and they are easy to check

+1 Does the temperature come up at all? Running no thermostat would make the car in most cases not heat up sufficiently enough.

As said the first thing you need to verify is that it reaches normal operating temperature, if not then it's pointless looking elsewhere.

Dampness in the car will cause the windows to mist up badly and quickly have a feel at the carpets in the footwells front and back and check rear light seals etc and the trim that surrounds the boot lock also what engine is actually in it? I may have missed that I'm knackered
