My dual mass flywheel on my TDCi 130 failed recently and after much pondering I decided to go with a solid flywheel conversion. Overall I'm happy with the results as the car behaves the same as with a dual mass flywheel except some resulting vibrations at certain revs.
I was just wondering, or maybe I'm talking sh!t, would an engine map exist that would change the power band to minimize the vibration effects of the conversion?

 

No. Not really. That's the problem with SMF conversions unfortunately.
