Im guessing engine oil cooler! Sits right at the front of the car next to the fan! I'm guessing it's air cooled being at the front?

not transmission specialist but spent a lot of time understanding the above subject
there wouldnt be an oil cooler in place if it wasnt needed as some point
towing a trailer or carrying more than 3 passengers puts huge load on internal combustion engines, transmissions and differentials, agreed?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_sa...+cooler&_frs=1
none for sale
Ł20 should see you right, not worth the risk IMO
i have bypassed these type before but just as a "get by"
the PAS/Auto transmission universal type would also work very well, something is better than nothing matey

I've looked on eBay and they don't have my model of oil cooler! If it was 200 quid I wouldn't be bothered lol but I'm not giving mitsi 500 quid for a small oil cooler lol it's a total joke

other models will "fit"
the 2 pipes will just be push on pipes with sprung jubilee clips yes?
just buy a universal cooler and fit that,
like this:

Failing that, send me a pic of yours and i will help better
