hi guy s am new to this forum have got a mk2 mexico in my garage ,but am thinking about going for a series 2 rs turbo in the near future what kind of prices do they go for for say a good condition one that needs no or very little work but not concourse thanks Iain

£4k will get you a nice one, your mex is worth a fair bit more though probably, and we need pics of it

my mate has had a few taxed and tested ones over the past year for around a grand, all ran well and didnt let him down but could do with tidying tho he made profit on all of them but really you should be looking at spending 2-2.5 grand for a good one

thanks guys seen a couple o nice ones on theifbay from a dealer very nice but he wants £8000 for them big money that yeah will post some tomorrow night

I would say around £4000 - £4500 for a good one that doesn't need anything done to it.

There was one on the other week with 4k orginal miles.It was a one owner car and the bidding ended at 20k lol.

Its a local car and ive seen it at a show a few years back.

To get a decent one you should be looking at over £3.5k as most under that price are rotters and will need a considerable amount of work although you can get the odd bargain for under that price but prices are creeping up for decent ones now
