Repair or write off?
I reversed into someones car this weekend. The rear bumper on my car has a dent in it and a small split where the crash bar behind has pierced through it plus all the paint on the bumper has cracked like eggshell effect? Loads of tiny hairline cracks allover the paint. Its a 2002 3 door focus st170 with 110k on clocks. Basically needs a new bumper and paint. Would they repair it or write it off? If it was written off how much would i get back on it? Ta
no it wont get written off, its daft the repairs going ahead these days
recently i know of an 03plate prev catc fusion that was give a new boot floor and everything around it!
my 2000 scenic had been repaired on the 1/4/bumper with new paint and flap
a bumper will come painted if you want it too, ford can order in painted or primed but if you order painted check it very very well 1st and they usually come out of the packing with some sort of issue
i think painted were around 280+vat whereas un painted were not that much over 100 inc vat but normal models bumpers so there will be some st tax on top
