Mk5 driveshaft
Hi, new member here 
I just bought a Mk5 1.8TD as an economical daily drive so I can afford to still run my ST24.
It was sold as scrap (v. cheap) though it does run. I took it for a test drive and it was making a clicking driveshaft noise when turning right and also straight ahead so I knew it wouldn't be long.
Anyway, the nearside inner CV went pop after about 50 miles. I am going to replace the whole shaft, I just want to know if it has to be a shaft from a Mk5 or will any other fit?
