I dont think it is going to be long until I have to replace the exhaust on my Focus, and just had a couple of questions!

If I was looking at getting a cat back system, would this have much of an affect on the performance and MPG, and would it make it much noisier? I dont want to be making it much louder if at all!
And what would be the best one to go for?

I had a mongoose cat back fitted to mine, it felt like the throttle response was better, it wasnt stupid loud either quite tame infact. I would be suprised if it gained much more than 1 or 2 BHP though
