Does anyone know what ford uses when doing there warranty tsb fix for clunking on focus st225 cv joint to hub. it is a glue of sorts but cant find info and ford won't tell me. The noise is only when taken off or reverse and ford had a technical bulletin for the dealer to fix it.

hey you need sealant loctite 638 part number 1672156 picture below to comfirm.

 

Thats great info thank for that. I will get some hopfully the morro before i start work on my wheel bearing and get both done at same time

 

Well thats it once again sorted got equiv to loctite 638 cost Ł8 for 50 ml wich is enough for ten but thats all they had. New bearing too so no Knocks or rumbles
