Default Transit Connect Tddi to Zetec

Hi all ive googled this and searched on here and come up with the Focus RS conversions, but im looking to convert my TDDi to a 2.0 Zetec with future plans to turbo it.
Ive been told to get the Mondeo Silver top, so my questions are with regards to this. Will this engine just bolt up or will fabrication be needed. What about the box? Will i use the Mondeo one or the connect one?
Do the Mk2 mondeos have key transponder and linked dash clocks or are they pretty much standalone?
And then interior looms etc? Do they need splicing/swapping/joining or just the engine harness joining to the car loom?
Im tempted to go Omex straight away for future use so how would this affect initial wiring connections with regards to the Mondeo loom being needed etc.

Any help much appreciated!

Would of thought the black top is the one to go for and I'm sure you can use the connect box, ford did do a petrol connect.

After speaking to several people if i want 300bhp then black top is the way forward, anything under that silver top will suffice. I want 225-250 really hence buying the silvertop...
