Hello Passion ford, this is my second post here and I would like to add my Escort Van it is 1.8D 75.

I have read many post here and i hope to read many more about the projects you do

So I got my van 1 year ago for work (It is a working Van) it cost £350 and up till now it has had a new
Starter
Alternator
Battery
Rear tires are 165R13 Reinforced and standard 185/65/14 on the front, front wheels still spin when pulling off with a full load.
For the mot it was the usual welding seatbelt anchor points and rear leaf spring area.

Now for the Cosmetics wash and polish thats about it at the moment as i would like some input from other members to sexy up my van and a bit of spray paint (white)






I want to paint the bonnet, grill and roof rack covers aluminas yellow or orange what do you think? I tried GIMP but I could not get it to look nice.

The color of the paint is pearlesent so i thought orange or yellow would look nice

I am going to put checker plate on the back doors half way up for extra protection (It is a working Van).

So what are your thoughts so far?
Please say if there is somthing I can change add ETC (was after some bullbars to stop people hitting my front bumper).

How can i change to color of my dash lights most of them do'nt light up!

Added an RDS 5000 radio for better sound.


Q. what speakers can i use to improve the sound further and does the loom allow me to add rear speakers?

*Edit* Engine is a reconditioned and I have not lost oil as of yet and it is semi synthetic as well NO smoke from exhaust engine pick up is very fast.

 

Here is my first upgrade after 4 rear handles I decided toget this off ebay, has anybody fitted one of these as I would like to know the best live wire to connect to ( I only want it to work when the ign is on).

Can anybody help with fitting advise for this motor please I dont realy want to go down the trial and error road as I will have lots of holes in my van.

THIS REALY is my Van, I can add a passion ford siogn on it if that helps

 

Hello mate, think you might be in the wrong room..... Go to the main area, you will get more luck.

Also it sounds like something is fucked if you broke 4 handles..... Try changing lock mechanism..... Aftermarket bodges to get round simple issues are not ideal... Especially when you think ford spent millions developing engineering and designing these things..... Although having owned a few fords I do wonder if their design team just could not be arsed sometimes!!!l
