1. Who uses a decat pipe?

Would I notice a big difference if I fitted one to my mountune 260?

2. Also are the eibach springs a worthy buy ??

Please give me your opinions

3. Who is using the Collins dump valve, how does it sound?
Childish I know but really thinking of buying one.

All opinions good or bad wanted, just be honest

I had a decat pipe. Got told anywhere from 3-7 ish bhp may be but really you won't know without back to back tests.

I had a bailey dv as I didn't need to mess about with the bov as sounded great IMO. First turbo car fr me so it was going to have a dv no matter what.

God knows on springs, I was on standards but heard plenty of good reports on them.

On start up it was bassy as hell but settle once the revs had dropped. Enough to set off a neighbours car alarm.

Louder and more pops and bangs all round really.

Decat is definately worth it you will feel a difference as are the eibachs, although they sit a little high at the back. If you go with the eibachs plus the bilstein dampers it will be more level.

Dont waste time with a dump valve it will lose you power. For turbo chatter get the Dreamscience CAIS.

Also pal if you have the mountune 260 im pretty sure you can get the 290 map for around £100 although you may have to add a few mods. maybe a downpipe or something like that. Anyway its something to consider if you after more power you could go that route instead of the decat.

Mountune 290 would eat a standard RS.

You could of course google "mountune 290 upgrade" while you're on the Internet or one of us can do it for you
