I have a customers 4x4 saph in for a missfire, been stood 11 years , has done 27k nouvo red ,
Beautifull car!

No3 cylinder missfire, swapped injectors round, check spark, fit full srnsor kit, check compression, cylinder leak test, check valve lobes and tappet tops for wear , plugs leads etc , everything, boost leak checked perfect!

Still misses on tick over on no3 , plug damp, road test car no missfire only on tick over???

I've now found the fault can anyone guess what it was ?

Lol to comments fuel pressure reg diaphragm split leaking high pressure fuel down the vac pipe which connect to inlet right in line with no. 3 cylinder so simple but what a cunt to find!

 

Least you'll know for next time!

 

Have had the same problem before on a saph took off the vac pipe and it was pissing fuel out
