think the bell housing bolt pattern is different.

A great engine though and with it being light in comparison to the all iron V6 you should benefit all round. I have always thought about one in a Sierra...

No he means Mazda mx5 box iirc

Would be good but not sure how you'll do it cos the throttle body will be the bulk head end won't it?

In fairness thinking about it it may be possible to spin the inlets round. It would require some thinking about but "may" be possible and need some one off bits. I suppose you'd need to measure up and see how it can fit you might have enough room to keep it as is and re route a longer intake pipe to the tb.

As I said you could do with an engine hung in place on a crane or the like to see where the mounts will go and see how close the tb is to the bulk head.

If you do it go for a 200 engine as those of us with 24s spend our time bolting 200 bits on and chasing 200 power anyway hth

just get the s-type jag 3.0 with manual box, its basicly an st220 engine already spun 90*, and its just a 3.0 version of the st24/st200 2.5 engine, and is factory 240hp

if u want different, use the jag s-type v6 box and stick it behind the volvo xc90 v8, same engine as mondeo st's but with 2 extra cylinders, now thats different, don't know if the box would take the v8 power, or find a 3.5 eco boost v6 from america, same engine but twin turbo
