Default Scrapping a car with no full V5?

I'm going to have to get that pig of a Golf I bought scrapped today.

Worried about doing so as I only have the green slip and not the full V5.

Should there be a problem?

Bailes.

cant see there being any issue as long as you have proof of ownership so you can obtain a certificate of destruction, most scrappies however could not give 2 hoots and simply dispose it of it as to them its just money and sod the law
