as titled my birds passenger door wont open from the out side, i took the door card of peeled back the plastic crud then was left with only being able to remove 1 screw from the door handle as there is some thing in the way that seems to be riveted secure,any 1 any idea as to why 1) it wont open & 2) how to fix/remove excisting handle?cheers

turns out the black cover is the window guide, i need to drill out 2 rivets and use a stanley knife to cut through sealer before i can remove it to expose the 2nd screw holding the handle on

yes I did mate. it was the plastic lug on the inside of the handle had broken due to it being plastic and the friction between the plastic and the metal soon gets as dry as a nuns chuff and the lug starts to stretch making it a pig to open the door then the lug brakes of. easy to do mate. just grease it up when you fit the new one and all will be good.

her drivers side one has started to play up again so I am going to grease it up and it will be crisp
