Default launch x431 diagun

been looking for a machine decided on this, not an original but a uk based chinese seller

updates now seem easily viable and the price for 695 to my door has a lot better than £1500 lol

done my research there exactly the same machine read what they can do but what are they actually like to use??

ive ordered one anyway even if i throw it away after a few years it would still of been a good buy, considering my last machine was a up to 2005 mt2500 snap on haha

my bro in law has a up to date solus he doesnt seem to rate it too well???

Default Be warned

If you go to the main Chinese website for the company Launch, there is many warnings about buying in proper channels. X431.com

You do get something on the cheap but you are limited by the software as you. won't be able to update the units prescription to software. And that is if you are lucky to buy the ones with good copied cracked software.

God help you if you get a dodgy crack, as many people found out when they test a BMW and blow up the ecu. True story, and has happen at least seven times I know (used to work on the phones) it was proven to be dodgy software and Launch tech uk did not refund the cost of the new BMW Ecus to the garage victims. Instead the money they saved they lost a lot more on fixes

Safe yourself go with the best launchtech.co.uk

Is that the final price or are there import charges etc?

So, are you a mechanic or doing a bit for pocket money etc? I have the Ford F Super / Formidable but wish to do a bit more.

Only thing that puts me off is that they can lead you round in circles - Lambda sensor down - ok, it is but whats caused it...........

I've the Launch x341. Amazing piece of kit, very bulky, strong, sturdy, gets bashed and batter but still working fine, easy to use recommend it to anyone, had mine a year now.

that was to my door i think (my old man organised it)

yeah im a mobile mechanic, there more than just a code reader you can get live readings as well as graphs and even record the readings to study later ect! in my experience these tools are only as good as the understanding off the operator! if your local your more than welcome to come and have a play!

be very wary about a couple of the chinese places, i paid extra from car-tek, hes based in ireland, i paid £695 all in with a years updates and got the latest version it was manufactured the month before i received it lol

brilliant bit of kit, its equivilant the x431 master and they are not cheap!!!

formidible etc i used to think was ok untill i read codes with that then with my diagun and got the proper results and a completely different code, a ka recently it was telling my injector wiring, read it on diagun and it was 02 sensor!!!

for the money you cant go wrong, a 2 year out of date solus will cost £600 odd, they really are just a pda with bluetooth connectors but brilliant.
