I've had 2 pace ones shit the bed as well :-(

 

Brother had loads of shit with his GRS radiator :-( He went with a cheap Airtec one that was bloody heavy but did work well.

 

Pro alloy all day long for me ! Wayne is a top guy and will endeavour to help

why not just get a bigger core fitted to your original rad?
every bit as good and a probably cost a third of a new alloy rad,
i got a larger core fitted to my cossie rad and the temps are rarely over 70 degrees,
even after a good blast,
just gives you another option

 

they make good stuff but by time it arrives you will have lost interest in the car

 

If you want a quality product and a name to go along with it, AH fabrications are good.

If the name doesn't bother you, try Serck.

Most cars are still well into the cold start maps at 70 degrees!

 

Not airtec - their quality is shite - either Alloy Racing Fabrication or RSM Fabrication

 

i had overheating problems with a airtec one on my frst have had no problems since i changed to a pace one

I've got a custom AH Fabrications radiator, and the quality is really good.

 

I've had a RadTec one fail on me and I know of a few others as well.

 

Forge? That's not been mentioned yet and down the road from me, not cheap though, or maybe a Chinese one from eBay?

 

Airtec nice fit work well radtec shite failed twice on me

Went round to see him this eve as he's going to be doing some mods to my AMS intercooler and boost pipework.

Top chappy. Makes all the rads for the Ariel Atoms, including the Ł140,000 Atom V8, so he obviously knows what he's doing.

He's big in the BMW Mini scene, told me he was just making his 1000th intercooler for a Mini

Mad, considering he's a one man band and not on it full time.

 

Havent seen Graham for years, was getting into the mini scene last time i spoke to him years ago, nice chap

 

what ever way you go give it a thin coat (so not to interfere with air flow) of MAT BLACK paint! makes them much more efficient, but they don't look quite as nice after. - The just radiate heat better!
