Default Sierra Cosworth RWD with 6 speed gear box from Sweden

Hi,

Thougt i should create a little thread on this magnificent forum
My english in wiriting isnt the best so i apologize for that from the start....

It started in 2009 when i got the opportunity to test my friends cossie and then i know i got to have a cossie
This friend (Putte) has allso spent alot of time in the garege with me and contribute with a lot of help.

We found a good object 480 km single tripp so after i nights drive this was parket in my garage.

After a half summer we notiched the blue smoke from the exaust pipe and the project was started.

After some hard days of work in the garage the result was the following

This was the parts that bee orderd:
*Longstudds
*Cp pistons
*Verdi rods the log vertion
*Acl race bearings
*New oilpump
*New waterpump
*Bosch 044
*CNC machined cylinder head
*BD16+ inlet
*Vi-Pec V44
*VAG coils
*990 cc injectors
*TG Fulerail
*PT SC5862 Billet

Vipec installation

End result that year, 472 Bhp

New paint on the rims

In autom of 2011 the gearbox wasnt the best and allso the differential.

A quaiffe was mounted and a BMW e36 3,2 6-speed gearbox rebuild to fitt the cossie.

The PT turbo wasnt quick enough so a GTX3076 was order wit a TG exhaustmanifold

Whit this setup i got 500 Bhp and 505 Nm
The low torque is the result of surging
Next year it will be a larger turbine housing and exhaust cam.

/Micke

Thanx for the positive comments

Regarding the gear box I had the luck to have a friend thats working with mechanics.
He made the welding of the gear box.

Now its a standard slave cylinder to the m3 and a master cylinder kit I purchase here in sweden.

No cutting was recuired in the boddy only a few hitts with the hemmer

Got my new hedlights last week but haven had the time to have them painted so pics will come

The manifold is from TG Racing here in sweden.
Unfortunately, he does not have any website.

I'm not sure, but I think that Rainbird sell those as well.
