Default Fault Reading a KA

My Brother in Law's GF has a KA and it sounds like it's running on 3 cylinders.

How do I do a code read, do I need a diagnostics handset or is there another way like flashes of a light on the dash or something?

Cheers,

Nick.

can you not do the self diagnostic on the dash with these?

worth a try

not sure it it will work on yours as unsure of year, but it worked on my sportka

should be able to bring up the fault codes (DTC) then and find out what it means on google somewhere?

Excellent, it worked.
