Replacement seat lever
Hello,
We've just bought a lovely Ford Ka as a first car for my niece. The driver's side lever to move the seat forward (the one nearer the top of the seat, to allow passengers access to back) has been snapped off and I wondered if anyone knew if it is easy to replace?
Obviously there is still access on the other side so it's not the end of the world but if it's a fairly easy/cheap job I'd like to get it done for her.
Thanks for any advice.

Pretty easy job mate.
The cable had snapped in my girlfriends seat so would not lift up... you have to take the back off the seat etc etc but once done its relatively easy!!
The parts were pretty cheap from Ford directly aswell.

Yes very easy to replace, and fairly cheap. Around £6.
I'm in the process of doing it right now. Made an account here just so I could reply to you.
Just go on ebay and search "ford ka seat knobs".
Or buy one from here: http://www.fordpartsuk.com/shop/ford...6116_c_123.htm
And then you just push it onto the metal lever that should still be the in the seat if you've only snapped the plastic.
