Default day trip to Motorsport developments

after buyimg an Audi A4 2.0L TDi for my wife I decided to have it re mapped after taking advice from a few people on here.Ive never been one to have a std car that ive owned re mapped.
dropped it off at Stus workshop about 12 ish yesterday,Stu dropped me and my daughter at the tram staition so we could spend the afternoon on the pleasure beach.got a call from Stu about 2.30 it was done.
Collected it and had a great drive home, the torque was unreal and goes like its in sports mode all the time, selected sports mode and boy does it respond on the tight country lanes.
deffo worth the trip to have it done, the fuel comsumtion on the way home was even better even sat at 90 mph.
all in all very very pleased and its turned a diesel car into a little flyer.
Sorry I couldnt stop for a curry with you Stu but the kids were wet through from the water rides, next time
Stu was the perfect host dropping us off and collecting us,even went to his house for a coffee (nice home gym)

Don't think I have ever heard a bad word about MSD.

That is good service!

I know where I will be taking my Mondingo if I ever get the chance to remap it.

Silly question but I would have thought with the diesels mapped that afterwards with the extra torque and power that it would use more fuel?

Usually makes them better, I know that's the case with ST TCDi's anyway.

I think it might use less because the Original car maker mapped the engine to comply with all these EU regs about CO2 and shit, so it might kinda strangle the engine.
