Hello People, I think this is a bit of a common problem, but the passenger side rear door won't open. I have taken the hinges off as thought with that and a bit of brute force and ignorance i may be able to do it, but nope. Any idea how i can do it? The car needs an MOT and then i need to sell it, have a company car, so i dont use it and it has been sitting there.

only way is to get the door panel off, as there screwed all the way around the door shut (4 iirc) you will have to break it off, then you can get to the lock to release it

 

this happend to me before on my old mondeo, i started the engine left it running and unlocked with the remote, it eventually opened.
can you get the door panel or hinges off if the door is locked shut?
