Default Dump valve or Bung??

Hi all, Just bought my first Mk 4 Escort Rst (zvh), and it has no dump valve as its been bunged off. Am trying to decide whether to purchase a dv or not so thought i'd see what other people thought the best and safest set up is..with or without???

Efi or MFi. If it's EFi don't bother. If it's MFi .... still don't bother as the system doesn't run well with one.

Unless the turbo specifically requires one (GT series for example) there is no point to having one. I've run 25psi for years on my S2 with a Stage 3 T3 and it's still as good as new.

And the way the MFi system works means a dumpvalve usually causes rough running and or stalling problems when stopping at lights.

dump valves were ok in 1995. today the noise gets on my nerves. a t series turbo is more than capable of lasting without one. also, i see dv's as a way for people to prove they have turbo cars, they dont offer any advantage other than that. or in a word, naff.
