Its a 03 plate cooper, 1.6

Loads on internet about which spec to get, all this long life stuff etc.

Its new to her so just wanted to change to be sure. She does 5k a year and i change it every year.

Anywhere got any cheap?!

i use mobil 10/60 fullysyn in the wifes 53plate coopers s if the helps ya pal

 

if your going to change it every year then you dont need the long life stuff
the long life oil can stay in for up to two years
when was it last serviced and what shows up on the dash at start up till the next service is due
i use castrol edge 5w 30 fully synthetic in the wifes cooper s
eurocarparts have 25% off at the moment

 

Last serviced at BMW about 10 months ago. Showing 2k till bext service on indicator.

Will get some 5w 30 fully synthetic then, cheers!

 

Castrol Edge 5w30 Fully synthetic is recommended by Mini and its all I use in the wifes. They are gutsy fuckers on the oil so keep a regular check on it.
