Default How does a saph cossie front bumper attach to the car?

ok ive been driving about with my front cossie bumper but its held on with a cable tie each side

there doesnt seem to be a bracket on the bumper or the car?

anyone pics of a saph bumper brackets or anything
or brackets on the car?

want this sorted as it doesnt sit right

There should be a bracket either side mate which locates into a plastic clip on the lower part of the wing, you can buy replacement brackets from one of the traders on here but they aren't cheap!

ouch they are expensive
my plastic one must been broken then as there is a black plastic bracket but nothing to fix it to?

yeah beats me wht they dont bolt up like a three door one and just rely on the sides to hold too easy to get nicked!!! where they push in i put a self tapper through mine as a safe guard

just remove the headlights and drill a hole through the chassis and bumper adjuster bars and sccrew into them

thats what was done when i got the front bumper painted but as the wipers attach to the lights i couldn get the lights in after it was all screwed down that way

can the wipers be fitted after lights an bumper?

In most cases they are held on with cable ties lol

mine slots into the hanger and has a 13mm bolt that goes into it

ahh i may remove my cable ties the mara an put 2 bolts through the chassis to hold it up
then fiddle with the wipers after

The screws in the chassis don't need to be tight, they just need to be long enough to deter the casual tea leafs from simply pulling the bumpers off

what i do is peel back the bumper insert, and drill behind the insert into the wing where the blackplastic clips go in, then just use a larg self tapper screw and put the bumper insert back in
