Hello all, I have an escort RS2000 engine with all ancillaries and engine loom + ECU. Now I have an urge to fit it into an escort after my last one. Does anyone Know if it would fit into a 1.6 or 1.8 zetec escort with some bits and bobs? I'm not too fussed about the gearbox side of things as I have heard they will survive with that standard power.

What clutch & flywheel + release bearing would I use?
Where can I buy a full rs2000 engine mounts?
What wiring issues would I encounter?

Any help greatly appreciated.

No problems it will go straight in all you will need is the mounts get them off ebay. Gearbox will fit u have engine loom and ecu so you take out engine loom and ecu from car your using and use your loom and ecu inside car loom will be ok to keep! I fitted an rs2000 engine and gearbox into an old mk2 orion piece of piss just had to alter mount as it was old cvh and adapt wiring but your using a car that runs a zetec anyway

 

Sweet, so i can just whack it straight in a mk6 zetec?! And no clutch and flywheel issues?!? Sounds good to me. Cheers
