What sort of tread size do these start to become poor/go off? Seen a set cheap that have 2.5 mm left and as I'm gonna nurbering again in october I was gonna throw them on a spare set off wheels and run them on track. Think there medium compound if that makes any difference?

Bare in mind if its a tourist day you are going to its a road, so the tyres must be road legal when you get to the end of your laps.

2.5mm would be fine for a couple of UK trackdays where it doesnt matter if they go under road legal, but I wouldnt want them at the ring.
