as its from south africa, its most likely a 3.0 essex engine with efi, i know they put the 3.0 in the P100 in south africa, yes they did put a v8 in a sierra, again, in south africa, it was the xr8

perana cars (basil green) of south africa, put different engines in all different fords, most well know here is the perana capri 5.0, but the did do a 3.0 amd 3.4 v6 sierra, so i guess the rs3000 is one of theirs

Saw this on FSOC, think it's rather cool. Strong money for what it is though. As for the title, crap? Don't think so mate. Sometimes I get the impression Cossy drivers (not all, just some) forget what they're actually driving. A cossy is still just a Sierra, but with added go faster bits

agree.
Crap, no... just not to your taste.
I know plenty of people who think anything Ford is crap, come to mention that anything in the same class as Evo's, Cossies etc etc. Not everyone likes the same thing.

Just yet another blinkered Ford 'fan' that thinks anything that's not a Cosworth on Comps is shit...

From what I read, the Essex is about the same as the Cologne (sp). The latter is more tunable though

But what makes a Saff look special? They're just Sierra's after all
It's all about what's under the body

Would rather have something that looks normal but will rip your eyes out, than a cossy look-a-like that's powered by a 1.6 pinto *shudders*
