Default That made a differerence!!!!!!

Just remapped the RS6 using the evolution map! Should be around 500bhp with 480ft/lb, certainly makes the turbos sound noisier and the traction control light come on even on this hot surface. It seems to come in much harder top end.
Any idea how the extra 50bhp and torque increase affect the 0-60 times ? standard it is around the 4.3 mark and quarter mile 12.5

I would imagine it will turn it into the worlds best car.... for a few months.

You will then sell it and buy some other cheap flash car and start 13 different posts about the new best car in the world whilst slagging off the car that was previously the best car in the world ever

I await an almighty BITE

Porkie no biting needed, as u being a petrol head can see where i am coming from on all cars i have, at present the Audi is very good at everything so far and its been made quite epic thanks to the remap.

I do however feel your sourness at my better choice of Ferrari

Phil, we can all see why you like swapping around to lots of different cars, its just the way that when you do so you always slag the previous one off so much that wears thin.
Its always "new one is epic in EVERY way, old one was rubbish" even though the old one was apparently epic just 6 months before.
It would be more interesting to read a balanced review instead.

Do you remember all those 90s television adverts for washing powders where each time they bang on about how much whiter than white the new one is and how the old one was actually washing your clothes brown, even though they said the same thing about the one before and the one before etc.

Some very nice stuff, but the F40 would be the very first car I bought with the lottery win!

If someone gave me an old ferrari I would just sell it TBH.

Cant imagine what I would do with it, would be a liability to drive, and probably not very good anyway.

I enjoy looking at them, some of them are among the prettiest cars, but you can do that without owning them anyway, lol

Porkies 430 Im very jealous of, and I used to really like Doug Stirlings yellow 355.

If I had a lotto win it would be a yellow 430 hardtop for me I think.

F40, GT40, Delta Integrale Evo 2 in yellow, RS 200, Every Cosworth. Diablo, Ultima GTR, a kit car with a mega YB & sequential box, Lotus Carlton, a mint 5GTT. And no doubt lots of others That's before we start on bikes as well

Pretty good selection there, might as well do my own list whilst I'm here:
Escort cossie
Jag XJ220
Ferrari F40
Mk2 escort rally car
Impreza P1
Supar twin turbo manual
Aston Martin DB5

Something like that.

Reckon an F40 would be modern enough to get away with it, appraently good for 60 in 3.2, carbon fibre body, not too many electronics

Not really. EVO tested the 288GTO, the F40, F50 and Enzo in a group test.

Shock winner was the F50....

I've always liked them. Lucky enough to have a go of one last year. Fucking cool. Far better than Shonky common F40

AND.... most importantly for me!!!!

The ROOOOF COMES OFF!! I dont do cars with roofs. They are poop.

The couple of people I have spoken to lucky enough to have driven an F40 have described it roughly like so:

Epic experience, so many sensations, amazing noise, brutal speed, no use for anything at all though as just too expensive to ever drive hard on a track and too unpleasant for anything else.

Even with a lottery win I couldnt afford to go crashing F40s so that rules out trackdays, so I just wouldnt buy one TBH.

Would sooner build something like a nutty v8 turbo westfield or similar that I can maintain myself. Or for that matter a turbo 355.

Cars to me are as much about building them as driving them, I enjoy doing it.

Have you removed the pre-cats yet? As they free up 20-30bhp and the car is still MOT friendly allegedly and with a remap should give around 520bhp aswell as a better exhaust note.

Chip as my personal stalker why ask how i was an evo chip dealer when u have bought bosch parts off me read your question!

Every car i have is epic, but as with everything there is always something better suited to a person, unless i buy and drive them i wouldnt know that another car is better The rs6 with 500+ bhp, 4 doors, 4 wheel drive and great drivability and not bad fuel consumption and value is many good features, but the 360 is the bollocks the more i drive it the more i love it.
