Default Small turbo Escort Cossie fan switch?

Is the small turbo fan switch different to every other Cossie? my fans won't come in automatically, but work if you bridge the connection out?

It's on a std rad at the moment, with a green colour switch, fans work when you turn the Aircon on, but not when the car gets hot. Corner of the rad is getting hot so should get it warm enough to switch.

Anyone got the part number please?

test the fan switch in a cup of boiling water! that's what I do! it is very simple and it works! I am sure stu at MSD can sell you one and tell you where to get one if he can't!

The one fitted is brand new, with a green collar, I'm just wondering if the small turbo is a different item with different switching temps etc?

Has yours not got a four pin connector, as Escos has dual speed fans, and a four pin switch?

You have the two pin "uprated" switch, it should still work, but bear in mind it won't close until around 90° C.

You need to rewire the plug, as it is very easy to do it. It would be fine, if you check your battery mode too.
