Default Cameras that read you got no tax..?

i gotta take me mate to essex tomoz to hopefully buy a cossie, not that means going down the M4, and i have been informed that there are the cameras between J15 swindon east, and J10 reading east.

as the car was off the road the mot and tax have now expired, and i still have NOT had the tax renewal letter

what are my options???

1. using black electreical tape, modify the letter on the reg plate lol

2. remove all reg plates

3. get off the motorway and miss out said section of motorway

i cant get new tax yet as it been mot'd yet.

btw the poilce cars have cameras on em that flag up uninsured cars and non taxed cars so they got a valid reason to tug ya

so maybe a train, borow a legal car or van hire costs fook all tbh, cost me 30 quid to hire a fiesta courier van and it was diesel so cheep to run too

hire cars are very cheap these days and a lot cheaper than the fine you will receive if you get caught!!

get your 'mate' to cough up some cash, If hes going to buy a cossie he can afford to rent a car

you want a v10 form

dont risk it... any camera can read your reg and check it against the DVLA's database... its not rocket science!

id just remove the front numberplate (if i had one to start with )
whats the chance of you actually getting stopped?
im not trying to condone driving with no tax or M.O.T at all but if YOU feel you arent likely to get stopped or are willing to take the risk and possible penalty (a fine at worst) then its up-to you...

Are you sure about insurance being invalid with no tax?

I HAD to use my car last year when it was MOT's and insured (I was waiting for the certificate to come through so couldn't get tax). I rang my insurance company prior to making the journey and they informed me I would still be insured but liable to be charged with having no road tax.

Same as if you crash while speeding...you still get a pay out don't you?

joh is correct, i think yopu will fiond street racing is slightly more serious, if ya get done for drink driving do they do ya for driving without insurance

its about a example on street racing tbh besides the 6 points lasts 3 years and he got 18months ban, so he gets another 18months with 6 points but has street racing on his licence for 10 years with a 100% preimium increase

i have looked into the no mot and no tax before, no tax has fook all to do with the licence

whenn ya get done for no tax then fine ya voia the post from dvla, no insurance is via court and endorsable the old bill deal with that and dvla deal with car tax as thats a serperate depatment

as for no mot that again is just a fine just like a seat belt !!!!,

the mot im sure is 60 quid fine too

hire a van and its deisel and cost ya 30 quid,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, theres a hint in there somewhere

No tax i would risk it, the fine is only back dated to when you last paid tax on it, i wouldnt drive with no mot or tax though, can you not go get it mot'd now ? Take an hour off work and just turn up at an mot station.

I begrudge taxing all my cars though, i only drive one at a time and when i am not driving them they ore off the public road on my private property. I'd pay extra to have transferable tax so i could list all my cars on it and sway it around depending on which car i was driving.
