Its definately the fans not kicking in fella, its holding coolant fine, will get the multimeter out tomorrow
you bypassed the fan switch to make them work..tried a new fan switch ? how did you bypass them ? looped wire in the fan switch plug?
ah,i re read, you did that originally..id still try another one.

Hello Jon, its currently bypassing the fan switch by looping the wire (soldered together with shrink wrap) thats why i was abit stumped when i couldnt see any melted relays......
well the green relay is the one to watch mine melted ever so slightly and took out the fans ,heater and and boot release lol check them on the battery and go from there.

It's a very bad idea to have the fans running all the time, as there not needed, so warm up times will be longer which does the engine no good, not to mention the fans take massive power, hence why they cycle only when needed!
It's overheating for a reason, by simply turning the fans on you won't cure the problem!
Have you tested the relay to make sure it's working?
OP bypassed the fan switch to make the fans work, so that won't be the problem!
Depending on how long you have had them running permanently for there is a chance you may have burnt the wiring out etc!
i think personally that you have used the wrong wiring to the switch. . was the wiring proper 30amp wiring with a fuse?? if so then take out the plug that plugs into the fan switch i bet its burnt out! change the plug and check the wiring

Personally i think you havent read my first post, i have bypassed the plug

In any case the switch does not have a live connection to it anyway!
Then you have a problem if your melting fan switches, the live hasn't been wired via the switch has it?
Martin
Correct, the problem being the wires/plug cant handle enough voltage to run the aftermarket twin fans, so i have ordered a msd uparted fan switch and changed the wire to 30 amp
