Default N-REG Mondeo estate mk1 1.8td

hi i have a mk1 mondeo estate lx 1.8td

I have lumpy idle and smoke issues .

The smoke and lumpy idle will start when i leave the engine to tick over for 5 minutes or more.

i beileve this is the cold start solenoid/advance solenoid?

Over on talkford i was told only the mk2 has the advance solenoid.

Here is a picture of my fuel pump and i have circled what i beileve to be the solenoid...

the only part i can find that says it fits the mk 1 is called a stop solenoid which has no wires to it and i beileve this is not the part i need ?

i have phoned so many parts companies today and no 1 has the part i need and half of them dont have a clue what im on about its a lucas pump this 1 pictured

Does anybody know what the exact name is of the part i need or better still have a link to where i can buy it .

im totally lost i have looked all over google and cant find the part which says its for the mk1 i found the solenoid which looks like the one i need but again it only says for mk2 mondeo .

Please please Help.

I will be forever gratefull

Kindest regards John
