Basically i have a friend with a S2 RSTurbo who has a spare gearbox with LSD but a knackered main shaft and in need of bearings.

I am in the midst of a project XR2 and would much like a LSD gearbox and am wandering if

a) His Quaife Diff will fit into my box or
b) Will my main shaft etc fit into his.

Im no expert on gearboxes and am hoping some of you folks can shed a bit of light on this for me....

an escort lsd can be fitted into an xr2 box, post on http://forum.xrtwo.com and they will sort you out.

If the diff your mate has is a Quaife ATB diff it will fit your XR2, as they have drillings for both 6 and 8 bolt fitments
