I have a mk1 1999 ford focus. i have a spare 1.8 zetec engine.
I was wondering wat the best way to tune it would be.
i have some ideas but could do with some advise on them

i was thinking
-fast road cams and vernier pulleys
-65mm tb
-lightened and balanced flywheel
-forged internals with high compression pistons

and could i uprate the injectors in any way?
just a lil stuck on where to go with it really

Sack the engine off for the 2l would be the first thing I'd do.

Certainly wouldn't be buying steel bottom end parts, cos if your keeping the 1.8 for insurance reasons buying those would far out weigh the costof insuring a 2l, or possibly a st/rs
