rolling road test = not happy :-(
took my mk4 escort rs2000 conversion to have a power test today!
he only did two runs and said theres no point in doing anymore as ive got a sudden drop in power? :-(
it made a crappy peak power of 134.3 bhp @6159 rpm and a peak torque of 122 lb ft @4958!!!
he said im missing another 30 bhp somewhere but he couldnt tell me on a rr test, but he said i should be running in the 160 - 170 mark easily.
he said it could be a number of things eg sensors, sensors plugged in wrongly or fueling? and that he reckons it may be running in limp mode or summat???
whats going on anybody have any ideas?????

Does it have the right edis module ?
The reason i say this is that i crashed one of mine and smashed the edis module to pieces , found one in a colleages toolbox at work but part numbers didn't match up . It ran but was way down on power .
If you get stuck i still have one from my RS2000 4x4 that i broke for spares .if you want to check numbers .

not sure about edis module as i never had an rs2000 one ive just used xr3i ones, i got cheap spark plugs in (were supposed to be temp lol) ive blanked egr valve off manifold, decat as i never will need one, no iscv n blanked a few pipes off inlet off.
ive done an oil change, oils still clean lol, alot of my sensors arent being used,
he said he cant remap my standard ecu??
i need omex 600?
i dont wanna throw money at this as im trying to get my rst sorted.
just wanted a 150-160 reliable mk4 escort that was nippy, n to be fair its still pretty rapid.
sometimes it feels alot more faster than other times, its weird. what could this be?
