Default Cambelt change (belt movement) & Tensioner Weeping

Hello,

I wonder if anyone can help, I have just changed the cambelt and tension on my escort cab rs turbo.

The belt seems to move quite a bit at the front at different revs, it is the same as the old one but I thought that one might be a bit stretched, the tension is good at the back and you can only get about ¼ turn at the front (belt check)

The other issue is that the new tensioner has thrown out quite a lot of green grease when hot, could the seal be bad?

Thanks.

Belt sounds normal to me but I'd say the tensioner should be sealed so shouldn't leak any grease imo

It's funny this should crop up, I fitted a new tensioner to my ZT a couple of days ago and noticed after a run that blue/green grease was all over it... Cleaned it off and hasnt returned since?!
Never had this happen before though.
